Too big for his britches.

Drew went on his first field trip yesterday. I think my nerves were comparable to that of a mother sending her child off to join the army. Excited, but terrified. He's three, for goodness sake. Not only am I a freak about ANYONE driving with him, but he was on a bus. Okay, one of those pre-school buses with the seatbelts and we leave their carseats...but still a bus...that I wasn't driving (not that I would have wanted to drive the bus). They went to a local park, played on the playground and ate their lunches on the picnic tables. He had a blast! Although, he did come home talking about his new friend, Shelby. Hmmmm, already?!
